We are an active urban farm planting organic vegetables on 1.6 ha, with 75 fruit trees, 400 yards of berries, 100 chickens and 4 goats.
Our farm boasts 60 farm beds, where kids and young adults can grow all seasonal vegetables.
Epple Active Urban Farm isn’t just about farming – it’s also a showcase of the latest technology!
We welcome you to join us in Johannesburg to learn about farming, education, and technology.
We rent farm space to children and young adults. Under the supervision of our farmers you experience how to grow your food from seed to plant, and harvest to sales.
